Welcome to the forum, valera!
Sorry to hear about this, but what graphics card is in your computer?
I need this information in order to even begin thinking about what might be going wrong, you know. :geek:

Woooot! :o
Please, download the latest driver for your video card, also, download Verve again (I did a small change)!
That MUST work fine! You have a really nice system, congratulations! :ob

AH, that might explain it, though. The 750m is not a performance card...basically the low end Nvidia mulitmedia card, why ever they even made it, I don't know. It's data bandwidth is a 10th of the 900 series, for example, making it really rough on something like Verve or even games.
I'm afraid it simply can't quite handle that.

I don't know what else to tell you, as sorry as I am about that. :| ...Geforce GTX950M is supposedly working fine!

I wonder, if somebody else on the forum has any experiences with laptop graphics to make a good suggestion for an alternative? It's definitely worth it to scour the graphics card thread on here:

Valera, try the fluids on empty canvas (restart Verve before that). Can you see that weird result again?

Strange but….VErve runs pretty nicely on my Nvidia 650m with only 1 gb ram on my 2013 macbook pro under bootcamp/windpws 7

Thing is, we don't really know what is happening. It's so hard to diagnose an issue, when you can't quite tell what's going on. It does look like a shader issue, but then all the rest of the shaders seem to work just fine. The only other thing I could remotely imagine is if there was some other openGL application running that would take away all the memory OR (and that's a really big OR) something is literally broken with the card...maybe a broken memory piece?
I don't know... but it sure is weird.

Possible it's also just a bad use of the Verve functions!
Sometimes we are losted in a labyrinth of Fonctions / Shortcuts and better is restart than try to refind the exit! ;)
