I am playing with verve. Very cool It would be nice to have some live streaming record function. I have the border condition to mirror and the dryness set to off and the imagery would make fantastic video.

Also I am running a AMD card (6800) on a 64 bit machine. The program is fluid most of the time and then just stops drawing- or sometime will not start drawing. I suspect an issue with calls vs a horsepower/amount of memory issue.

I'm planning on doing a script recording solution which later on could be used to record sequences as playback. It would guarantee consistent fluidity, I believe. Certainly something interesting and potentially quite useful for all sorts of projects! :)

Hmmm, that drawing trouble sounds bad. I haven't yet experienced anything like it, so that's a bit tough for me to investigate. :?
I know that I will have to hook up some GLerror testing. That could be useful to track the troubles, but I somehow doubt that there's the problem you're encountering. Not sure, though.

But above all that: WELCOME TO THE FORUM! :D
...and thanks for the feedback already! 8-)

I turned of all windows apperance enhancements and now I have no stalling- when I get the time I will turn them on one at a time to see which is making demands on the texture buffers- I am imagining simultaneous calls to be the culprit in the brush stall issue.

Interesting. Could be a strange "high quality", anti aliasing or triple filtering thing. Weird no less.
