borhani, I will try camstudio, for sure. Seems perfect to do the job. I already tried with ScreenRecordingSuite, very good app, with lot of nice features, but Verve became slow as hell ! Couldn't do anything good. I'll tell you if camstudio is light enough for my config. Thanks

...

Mmmh Camstudio works fine except ... with Verve ! :o Messing up all the Verve shortcuts, even if I disabled all camstudio shortcuts. Dunno why ... And of course, Verve is THE app that cannot be used without its shortcuts :D
Ok, I will look further.

I know. I tried many things (even putting them all to none) but seems not compatible with Verve, for some reason.

I figured it's worth a topic at least. I've tried a few free ones and always had some trouble with each until I find dreadful NCH's Debut, which works well for my purposes, but it's not free and they add a whole bunch of advertising onto your machine, partially messing with the OS. I cannot recommend it for that reason, but as recorder it's quite good and reliable!

I will now move related posts into this topic! 8-)

Thx Taron

Well, Borhani, same problem even with those shorcuts. Maybe something to do with my win7 ? If it worked on your computer, it must be something about mine ...

Hi, this is my first post here.
So I would recommend Nvidias inbuilt Shadowplay feature.
It's doing the recording on the graphics card itself, with almost no performance penalty like most software solution have.
Here is a quick recording of Verve that I made with that. (And speed it up in post.)

Edit: The bbcode for embedding youtube videos does not seem to work.

Taron-Edit: Works just fine! Only have the code between the tags! 7qOPV8iykeU

Even worse...I have an NVidia Quadro 5000 and in all its glory, it can't have Shadowplay.. :( ...pity!
