virus warnings no way around it?

Great new addition with loading and fluid painting of images, awesome.

However...I constantly run in to avast throwing the software in to carantine when I try to start it, I turned off the file protection for a minute and downloaded the newvest verve version..played with it a while, closed it and the next day
it happens again, once I try to run verve, avast just throws it away, a little annoying if I have to turn off avast each time I start it.
Do you have any suggestion to avoid this, not sure how to make an exception for verve in avast if I can do that?
I have also sent the file and report as a false alarm, but as you mentioned, that may be futile.
I tried to deactivat avast and to download verve again, but this time I couldn´t even connect to the download page and get an error:(

Nevermind Taron, a little more activity in my neurons made me find the path to avast expert settings, and I could reset the verve.exe file from the carantine then I did exclude verve from being scanned, so I think it should work now.

And what was these expert settings ?

check this image, it´s an older version of avast, I thought the newer program update sucked from UI point of view, also ..it is swedish so just try to follow location of the buttons, just basicly find the file protection/expert settings.


I might be able to post some more vids later..with a showcase of how to mask a certain part of an image, then using fluids to distort paint the other non masked part of the image, I think Angelina Joline will be my subject for fluids:)

But alas that don't resolve the general case problem for the source file itself!
